Understanding the role that visual communications play in the development of media artifacts is critical. Although Dr. A has completed a PhD not a MFA in Graphic Design, he has produced a number of visual communication artifacts in his career by necessity. He has produced advertising flyers, tracing of political characters, kiosk interfaces, movie posters, visual website storyboards, smartphone app graphics, logos, icons, video games, and more. The collection displayed below is just a fraction of the work he has done in this area.
His students have also done a fair amount of work in visual communications under his supervision. They have produced promotional materials, websites, logos, television graphics, maps…
H can help students to think creatively with graphics to either market an operation or advertise products and services. His experience with producing graphics for television is limited but he has taught students to produce a television graphics package in his career as an illustration instructor.
