Welcome to the new old… there is nothing, absolutely nothing new under the sun (Ecclesiastes 3) other that the times that we are living in which is categorized by a time that “is coming when people will not endure sound teaching, but having itching ears they will accumulate for themselves teachers to suit their own passions” 2 Timothy 4:3
When was the last time that you were taught Christian doctrine in your church? Do you know your statement of faith? Do you even go to church, I should ask? How about your friends and family? I bet that most of you don’t and if you do, it is for a day if that.
Do you really read your Bible? Or are going to church to be entertained? Let me ask you this, “who do you think will win in a spiritual warfare fight. The lukewarm Christian who is spending maybe an hour a week in church seeking to be entertained and understated instead of defending the faith or the witchcraft follower of Satan who trains his craft for ten hours on Wednesdays in a satanic church somewhere with the fear of being punished by the devil for not doing evil enough with the goal to destroy you?
Don’t be deceived. You must be ready to fight evil in the spiritual realm. There are a number of very evil people in this world who wants you to suffer for being a follower of Jesus Christ, in addition to wanting to steal your eternal salvation granted by Jesus ultimate sacrifice. What is new? Nothing is , I repeat. The devil’s many tactics rooted in destruction are for real and his legions are ready to fight you. You you armed with Christ Jesus to fight them back? Or are you afraid to even say the word Satan?
You have the Lord! The creator of the universe! Be firm in the faith. Stay strong and undivided! Flee from fragmentation’s for sin and immediately repent when you fall. If you struggle with lust, stop watching media images that makes you lust. Look up to a person’s eyes instead of looking down at their physique. Seek help! Close your eyes if you have to in order to flee from sin.
“Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? What accord has Christ with Belial? Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will make my dwelling among them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people. Therefore go out from their midst, and be separate from them, says the Lord, and touch no unclean thing; then I will welcome you, and I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6: 14-18.
Your goal is to follow the Lord and his commands not the ways of the world because He is the only path to salvation and eternal life, “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” John -4:6. Listen carefully: ““Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.” Matthew 7:21.
“Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!” 2 Corinthians 13:5. Are you the Jesus or are you pretending to be with Him for societal acceptance? Being with God is a gift. Jesus once said, “If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.” Revelation 3:20.
Make God a priority in your life, repent from your sins and love to glorify God all the days of your life. The same old sinful attributes of humanity must stop and be less frequent for God to bless our communities, family and friends. Practicing the doctrines of the devil will only keep you awake at night a d further and further from heaven. Don’t look at yourself but make every effort to keep your eyes on God.
After all, who are we without Him? We aren’t anything other than terminal and perishable flesh and bones. To God we are to believe and live for. He is the only one supreme and powerful God who created the strong Archangel Michael, the heavenly being who threw satan out of heaven. Engage in the great commission! “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,” Matthew 28:19.
