The Time and the Day Nobody Knows

No matter the number of pastors and followers of the way that might tell you exactly when Christ will return, the time and the day of His return nobody knows it, only God.

How do we know it? Let’s look at what Matthew has written in the following scripture. “But about that day or hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.” Matthew 34:36. Clearly, we are instructed to believe that only GOD knows the answer to it. I am okay with that!

Our eyes are to be focused in the Lord!!! Not in opinionated human groups or church leaders whose intentions are to self glorify themselves in the name of the most high. The former is definitively an act of idolatry, brothers and sisters.

The Adventists were wrong about Christ’s return back in the day and many false prophets will be wrong trying to predict the end of the world in our lifetime, I suspect. Our goal is to keep our eyes in the Lord always being mindful that life isn’t about us but God and that He and He alone is the one who knows His plans.

We need much faith because it gives us the confidence and the assurance of God’s love in His time, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” Hebrew 11:11. Let’s keep focusing on doing great deeds for God today not tomorrow.

It’s our duty!

  1. Christ has never left us, He Himself says in the Bible: “I shall never leave thee nor forsake thee till the end of the world.” – when this is understood, then the question is answered.

Thanks for sharing, dear friend 🙂
    All the best

    1. He is among us in spirit. He shall be among us physically again.
