Some of us who have lived in this earth for a while, have reflected on our own life experiences, and can attest to you that being humble and kind helps the brethren to live a better and fulfilled life minimizing the numerous side effects that are attached to unkindness and arrogance.
Showing each other kindness is the ideal, lacked and gentleman. Scripture reminds us all about the need to be kind….
“If we all love one another and show each other the same kindness that God extends to us, we can all live better lives.” 1 Samuel 20:13.
The best course of action for you my talented youth is to stay humble and kind towards others in your victorious days. Flee from unkind displays of affection and cockiness because the former will only fuel much animosity among people which can realistically cause irreparable damage of uncontrolled.
Listen carefully: Success can corrupt the best of the minds and spirits living under the sun. The glorious days of a winning golfer or tennis player, the many goals scored by a footballer or the thousands of yards attained by a running back can turn a godly talent into a devilish self-centered being waiting to implode, especially if cockiness tendencies are deeply developed.
Be careful with assuming that you are better than others for a number of reasons…
1. In life, there is always another person better than you in life realize that. Therefore, anyone who thinks that they are better than others because of an emotion will sooner or later fall from the throne because the odds of decline are eminent in the long run for us all. Let’s not forget that the second law of thermodynamics here.
2. Cockiness often results in much backlash. Self-centered behavior will for sure cost you much in this life because it. Refrain fro. Such behaviors and keep your eyes in the Lord. Refrain from making yourself into an idol because, “Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God’s love for them.” Jonah 2:8.
Remember: “Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2.
Always stay humble and kind. This is God’s instruction to you and me. fortunate are those who understand this call. Hope you have a wonderful Sabbath in the Lord. Blessings to you.
