Trust God in Difficult Times

Jesus once said that we are going to have trouble in this world… “If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first” John 15:18. Sometimes we are going to be afraid, have headaches and in some instances this world will be painful for many of us, Christians.

Pastor Joseph once said that we are either in the middle of a trial or tribulation/test, just came out of one, or will be going into one. The definition of tribulation is “a cause or a state of great trouble or suffering.” If we critically reason the former statement and definition, life is pretty rough for us believers, don’t you think?

Let me give you a word of caution, though.

No matter which difficulties or tribulations you might be facing in your life, never give up on God, under no circumstances. Don’t let your mind trick you into believing that God isn’t good because you are faced with much tribulation. Remember: God operates in a dimension other than ours and can see the past and the future in perspective. Tribulations happen to all of us, every day in all continents, to people who speak different languages and dialects. Suffering isn’t nationality or ethnicity specific, either.

Trust God in difficult times! “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, or the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.” Deuteronomy 31:6.
