All You Need is God

“Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked. “ Psalm 84:10.

I refuse to compromise my integrity for the sake of winning the wicked over. My name is worth more than any 30 pieces of silver. We know, as the followers of the way, that the Lord doesn’t want us to engage in activities that advance the agenda of those who choose evil over good despite of which position the incumbent holds in society.

“A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, And loving favor rather than silver and gold.” Proverbs 22:1.

Money and riches come and go. A well kept name stays with you forever, however… I stand by this statement with conviction and dignity. You should do the same, as well. Protect your reputation with all that you have.

Just because human beings can be corrupt or exploitative against others doesn’t mean that you should. Flee from the wicked! Say no to the temptation to “belong” to wicked groups for the sake of popularity and influence. Remember: God takes care of His people. Human beings doesn’t need men to in high places to help them.

All they need is God.
