Trust and obey the only true God. We are called to obey His will and plan for our lives. It is a duty that we all must take very seriously everyday until our last days.
Trust and obedience is so central to the gospel of God that it has been written in many parts of the holy Bible as a reminder to us about being truthful and obedient to God’s commands to us.
Let me share with you a variety of biblical scriptures that address the need for humans to trust and obey God’s call in the paragraphs below.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart,
and do not lean on your own understanding.
In all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make straight your paths.”
-Proverbs 3:5-6
“Delight yourself in the LORD,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
Commit your way to the LORD;
trust in him, and he will act.”
-Psalm 37:4-5
You keep him in perfect peace
whose mind is stayed on you,
because he trusts in you.
Trust in the LORD forever,
for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.”
-Isaiah 26:3-4
“And those who know your name put
their trust in you,
for you, O LORD, have not forsaken
those who seek you.”
-Psalm 9:10
“The fear of man lays a snare,
but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe.”
-Proverbs 29:25
“Behold, God is my salvation;
I will trust, and will not be afraid;
for the LORD GOD is my strength and my song,
and he has become my salvation.”
-Isaiah 12:2
“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD,
whose trust is the LORD.
He is like a tree planted by water,
that sends out its roots by the stream,
and does not fear when heat comes,
for its leaves remain green,
and is not anxious in the year of drought,
for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
-Jeremiah 17:7-8
Being with God is a gift. Trust and obey Him. It is your duty; it is my duty, it is our duty. With Him, everything is possible in our lives and beyond. That God be glorified.
