It lamentations 3:22-23 we learn that, “The steadfast love of the LORD never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.” Our God never ceases to have mercy on us. As creatures of the creatures, we are to emulate God in how we live. Much forgetting and forgiveness we shall give during our earthly journey because God told us to do so.
Human beings can be difficult and egocentric, arrogant, ungrateful, quarrelsome, selfish and unkind. We are to love them anyway! Remember Jesus’s second more important command after loving God with all of your soul? Love your neighbor as yourself… our neighbors come in different sizes and flavors, waiting to be loved.
When was the last time that you forgave and forgot the evil deeds that your enemy did to you? Have you ever did that? I’m not saying that this process is easy but it is certainly necessary. God said, it’s written, that settles it, as a former pastor once told me.
Brothers and sisters, we are to obey the one true God and listen to His commands. Doing God’s will is what we are to do in this life. Happy loving everyone.
