God has given us talents to help others and glorify Him. Some of these talents are related to teaching, others are in counseling, prophesy, discernment… “Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” James 1:17.
The Lord has given me much exhortation and teaching which I appreciate it very much. I have been reflection about this today since I’ve spend almost 10 hours this week coaching a buddy of mine trying to solve a very difficult career dilemma.
I did it with pleasure so that God be glorified. For free… no strings attached. What God gives us, we are to use it to advance His kingdom to the best of our abilities. Helping others is part of scat we have to do. We spoke about God afterwards.
What we do in this life, we don’t do it for man. We do it for God. We must keep all of this in mind simply because God said so, don’t you think? Life without God is in vain, I say.
Which godly gifts did the Lord give you? Are you using them to help build His kingdom? This is our call, this is our duty… we are to engage jn the great commission and always keep our eyes in the Lord. Be a hand to someone and keep the faith.
