“Flee from sexual immorality. All other sins a person commits are outside the body, but whoever sins sexually, sins against their own body” (1 Corinthians 6:18).
Our bodies, as the Bible teaches us, are members of the body of Christ. We are to flee from the prostitute, any form of bestiality, and homosexuality (Leviticus 18:22). We are to keep ourselves pure and only have sex (if married), with one person within marriage, as we learn in Hebrews 13:4. I am not saying that we need to hate anyone who, for example, practices homosexuality because God called us to love not to hate. However, loving doesn’t mean that we need to compromise our beliefs for human sake. We live for God not for man.
It doesn’t pay off to disobey God. That’s for sure.
