“Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Romans 12:31); “Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good” (Proverbs 27:4); “And I saw that all toil and all achievement spring from one person’s envy of another. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind” (Ecclesiastes 4:4).
A true christian doesn’t live a life of envy. He lives a godly life always seeking to follow God’s message of love. Flee from envy! Flee from everything that is evil and focus your efforts in better understanding who God is and what He has planned your life to be. If He talks to you, listen.
Who can be better that God? Nobody can. God is faithful and “he won’t let you bear more than what you can handle” (1 Corinthians 10:13). Remember that we are to do good not evil and show to others our fruits, “But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law” (Galatians 5:22-23).
Overcome evil with good, always.
